Sir Richard Branson, founder of multinational corporation Virgin Group is reported as having a net worth of 4.2 billion dollars. Although Branson ranks in the top 1% of the world’s wealthiest people, he is known for being quite generous. In fact, last week Branson made the decision to sign 'The Giving Pledge', which is an initiative created by media tycoon Warren Buffet and the Gates family to have the world’s richest people donate half of their wealth to a charity.
