A year later, a woman who I supervised, and who was jealous of me when I was named her supervisor, was made operations director, a new position in our company. She was more qualified for the position but was resentful that she had been passed over three years earlier when I was named her supervisor. Six months after her promotion and four months before my retirement, she fired me for unbecoming conduct and I wa unable to know who was accusing me. Do you think this was fair?
