Do you think we need to revisit the subject of airsoft and paintball contributing to gun violence in and out of school?

Do you think there is a correlation between airsoft (a gun/marker that shoots plastic balls) and paintball (a gun/marker that shoots little balls of paint that splatter upon impact) and eventually owning a real gun?

On Jan. 3, 2013 Glenn Beck had Dave Grossman on his show. Grossman said that in a real airsoft/paintball injury the game stops and the participants come together to make sure the injured party is ok, so everyone doesn't get in trouble with parents. In video games, he said that there are no consequences to the violence and as a result the games become murder simulators. Which do you agree with:

The word 'marker' is now used for the word 'gun' when speaking of Airsoft and Paintball. Additionally these sports use Tag instead of Kill. Do you think these are factors for keeping airsoft and paintball a sport and separate from violent video games?

Do you agree that 'a gun is a gun', whether its Airsoft, Paintball or Video games?

Do you think we need more concrete studies done between airsoft, paintball, violent video games, violence, and guns?

Do you think this would be a good way to gather information: When players sign in to play Airsoft and Paintball, they fill out a sheet asking if they own a real gun or if they plan on buying one?
