They have the right to sell it if they want to. I would! If they stole items, that would be entirely different, but they didn't, so good for them.

the same thing happened here in Vancouver, there is nothing wrong with making some money from things you have, I have tons of winter 2010 olympic stuff, to be honest I would sell it if shipping weren't such a hassle. Hey kitcsi you have no idea what you are talking about!!

The whole point is they did volunteer, so why do they feel it is OK to make money? How did they get ahold of the props in order to auction them off? The money should go back to the government in order to alleviate some of the costs. The taxpayers will be footing the bills in the end anyway. Shame on the volunteers.

They're the ones that are volunteering. I don't find anything wrong with it, if I volunteered and could grab something to auction off, I would. I doubt very few others wouldn't. If you say you wouldn't your either rich or your lying.
