Calliope Wong, 17, applied to Smith University which is a private all woman's university in Massachusetts. The only problem with this is Calliope was born a male.Calliope identifies and lives as a female but is obviously too young to have reassignment surgery so is biologically a male still. However, the college does welcome transgender students as long as they legally identify as female before applying.
