An outraged Florida mom is lashing out after she says her 4-year-old son was expelled from preschool because of something she posted on Facebook. Ashley Habat claims that she was only venting her frustration after missing notice of her son's picture day at Sonshine Christian Academy in Callahan. Her online comments ended up getting her son booted. "Why is it that every single day there is something new I dislike about Will's school?" her controversial post on Aug. 21 read. "Are my standards really too high or are people working in the education field really just that ignorant." Do you feel the preschool was justified in expelling her son?

The school's position stated "Your relationship with Sonshine did not get off to a very good start the first day of school and unfortunately it has not gotten better," her letter of dismissal read in part. "You utilized social media to call into question not only the integrity, but the intelligence of our staff ... These actions are also consistent with sowing discord, which is spoken of in the handbook you signed." Do you think that a private Facebook page posting should be considered as "sowing discord" (biblical reference to creating disharmony or unpleasantness among people), when only the woman's Friends can view her page?

freedom of speech is one of the usa most important rights. it is being undermined by political correctness and image control. but both the mother and school are wrong in this case, not dealing directly with the person causing the problem. 0.03% 1
