A few months ago I visited my primary care doctor following some scary 'episodes' While examining me, he pounded his fist around my back. In one area, I yelped a little and he said, "Hmm, thats where your kidney is" He didn't say anything else about it so I didn't. I have now found out I have kidney disease.
The doctor made a huge mistake not following through on the yelp. But doctors are human too.

We also did an EKG that day, trying to find the cause of my 'episode'. The doctor told me it was "abnormal but normal for me" When questioned, he told me I had an irregular heartbeat but that it is common. Studying has shown me that while it is a fairly common occurance, it can also cause problems in half of people affected with it, something my doctor failed to mention
The doctor should have fully disclosed all possibilties to help educate his patient

On my last visit a couple weeks ago, after yet another episode, this doctor yelled at me to stop making appointments. I have had this same doctor for two and a half years and had seen his three times up until November, when this began. Since November I have seen him four times. Is this too much?
