Are you concerned with the side effects and/or damage that chemical-based allergy medications can do to one's body over extended use? For example, regular use of medicated nasal sprays can cause permanent loss of sense of smell; regular use of allergy pills can cause chronic dry eye, often leading to permanent damage to the retina. Yes, I find these and other possible side effects concerning and therefore do not use medicated allergy remedies.
