- well, i don't have birdfeeder's because my cats would think they were dinner plates! as to squirrels, they keep out of my yard. my cats will catch them and eat them, too!

- there really is not much that you can do except put up with it. i have had this problem for over 20 years & we have tried everything & anything put nothing works for very long. squirrels are smarter than we thought they were. we have a larger issue with bird feeders & it is called black bears.

- we just started hanging a slinky from the top of the feeder pole. it is working! the squirrel jumps on he spring from the ground and just keeps climbing and going nowhere. try it! you're welcome!
- install a plastic dome type piece underneath underneath the feeder so squirrels can only go so far.
