Do you believe that resolutions are just as effective and long lasting when they are forced on you or when there is a compromise? Forced on me by an authority figure.

Compromise is always best. Each side gives a little and unites in the resolution. Otherwise one person will have to lose completely and you'll never have complete buy in.

When a person, or a leader, makes a decision... do you assume that this was his/her/their decision or do you realize that they often have to compromise for the greater good or for a better outcome? I blame the decision maker. They are ultimately responsible regardless of how they got to that point.
