My baby sister got everything growing up and my older sister stayed in trouble so she got a lot of attention. I missed out on a lot being in the middle but now they make up for it.

when was younger my middle daughter was favored cuz she always got good grades never got in any trouble. then my youngest was fav cuz she had mental issues and parents didn't want to disturb her and make them worse. They were always very strict and hard on me but now my parents are getting to really like my husband and hanging out with him and they treat me better.

my parents definitely favored my sister who has cerebral palsy and another who is bipolar. Seems like I was always trying harder to please them to make up for these two. Still a people-pleaser at age 62.

My brother was the favored child. And maybe that was just because he was the only boy, as well as the eldest, followed by my sister and I. I think he was favored too do to the Judaic (Father's side) influences in my family. My Father was mostly the one to favor him more. Yet, as my brother was the least emotional and most closed off I think my Mom interacted with him more carefully. When my parents divorced my Mother favored my brother more in order to compete with my Father's favoritism more. I think my Mom felt like my brother's loyalty was most in jeopardy out of her three children.

Yes I have 3 favorite children I love them all the same, it is hard to pick just one, when you have such beautiful, loving, considerate and caring young adults. How can a mother pick?

My parents were always more concerned about my older brother. He was the first born and being a boy that meant so much. They never really bragged about him, but were often worried about him.

well it depends on what kid you ask....Karen says Leta is my fav.,Leta says Karen is my fav...Eliz. thinks Leta is...I don't know where they come up with all this...To me I treat them the same you ask them I don't...there is no winning or losing...Serena and David probably think Leta is ...Leta is more stressful..gives her opinion more is more dictorial...They all have faults they all have good....I love them all (8) of them.....Now I was more quite than all my siblings....knew when to leave the "scene" of argument right before everyone got in trouble...So I didn't get in trouble much...I'm sure everyone thought I was the fav.

My brother is the only son and I always got punished for what he did. When we became adults and my brother quit a high paying job because he wanted to go on vacation when he didn't have the time for it. My Dad payed all his bills until he got another job. He wouldn't do that for any of us girls.

My mom always said my brother and me were my dad's kids and my sister and other brother were her kids. I always swore I would not choose favourites with my kids which I don't I always treat them the same

I was the only girl with 4 brothers and I was in the middle. but it seemed like the brother after me was allowed to do things long before me. driving and taking music lessons and etc.
