Whenever my husband and I are planning a vacation away, I read Tripadvisor reviews of all the resort hotels we are considering. Do you read hotel reviews when trying to decide where to stay on vacation?

I like to read Tripadvisor because it has reviews from people who have just travelled to and stayed at that hotel and will, I believe, give their honest opinions about it. I trust that more than the hotel website. Do you think vacationers personal reviews are more accurate than hotel websites?

Often people post pictures of their hotel room, the grounds, the beach, etc. I especially like to see these because sometimes the actual rooms look nothing like the pictures shown on the hotel's website which is something that I hate. Does this bother you too? (when the room is not the same as the pictures shown on the hotel website)?
