Zeuterin is a somewhat new form of neutering that was introduced a while ago, but has only now been used on dogs. Zeuterin is when the male dog gets a 'needle down there' instead of getting 'down there' removed. Apparently, it costs less, and takes less time for the dog to heal. As well it takes less time to actually perform the 'Zeuterin' than it does when neutering. Furthermore, it is said to be virtually painless for the dog.
