I have a purebred Yorkie, he's high strung and yappy but has never been sick and he's 4. I also have a Shepherd ,Doberman cross who is 8, she's only ever had worms when she was a pup, she's been very healthy but now she's moving a bit slower with arthritis.

purebreds aren't as healthy as you think, it's kind of like rich people, they're not built for endurance, been pampered all their lives, leads to really winy sick people, i mean pets
