Neiman Marcus, Dr. Jays.com and Revolve clothing have admitted to the Federal Trade Commission that they were passing off 'real animal fur' as 'faux fur' to their customers. This is a strict violation of the Fur Products Labeling Act. All three of the retail stores deny that the misrepresentation was done on purpose. The Federal Trade Commission did not divulge any fines that the retailers would have to pay. However, under the consent order the companies would be subject to pay $16,000 for any future misrepresentation of their products over the next 20 years.

Do you believe that the retail stores did not intentionally mean to mislead their customers?
I think it was done by accident. The fines they would have to pay are huge!
