*Wiki*"Pink Lake is a salt lake in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. It lies about 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Esperance and is bounded to the East by the South Coast Highway. The lake is not always pink but the distinctive colour of the water changes as a result of green alga Dunaliella salina, halobacterium Halobacteria cutirubrum, and/or high concentration of brine prawn. Once the lake water reaches a salinity level greater than that of sea water, the temperature is high enough and adequate light conditions are provided, the alga begins to accumulate the red pigment beta carotene. The pink halobacterium grow in the salt crust at the bottom of the lake and the colour of the lake is a result of the balance between, D. salina and H. cutirubrum." What say you regarding Pink Lake?

*Wiki*"The Amazon river dolphin, or pink river dolphin, Inia geoffrensis, is a freshwater river dolphin endemic to the Orinoco, Amazon and Araguaia/Tocantins River systems of Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. It was previously listed as a vulnerable species by the IUCN due to pollution, overfishing, excessive boat traffic, and habitat loss, but in 2011 it was changed to data deficient due to a lack of current information about threats, ecology, and population numbers and trends. Other common names of the species include boto, boto cor-de-rosa, boto vermelho, bouto, bufeo, tonina, yeyekeo (in Wao terero, the language of the indigenous Waorani people), and pink dolphin." "Murray River Gourmet Salt Flakes are produced from ancient saline waters sourced from underground aquifers found in Australia's Murray Darling Basin region. The naturally occurring minerals found in the ancient saline waters produce a uniquely pink hued salt. Murray River Gourmet Salt Flakes are delicate and soft in texture and can be used during cooking or to season your finished dish." Have you had these salt flakes before?
