Results: NASCAR and the Daytona 500
Recently, there was a horrible racecar accident that took place at the Daytona International Speedway. The accident resulted in more than a dozen cars being piled up. Some of the debris from the accident landed into the stands and left over 30 people with injuries. After doing a review of the accident and making repairs, NASCAR decided that the Daytona 500 would continue to take place the next day.
