Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer recently sent out a memo, that stated that she no longer wants her Yahoo employees to work from home. Mayer was quoted in the memo as saying “'speed and quality are often sacrificed when we work from home.” Many were outraged by this, as Mayer recently built a nursery in her office, yet denies her employees the ability to work nearby their children. It is believed that Mayer made this decision, because she is trying to create a cohesive unit at Yahoo, which involves being physically present at work.
