A condo in Toronto is the first to debut a virtual concierge. The virtual concierge is the evolved form of the security guard. No longer are security guards or concierge’s physical presence needed as individuals can monitor the whole condo complex from a completely different location. It is also viewed as being more cost effective than hiring security guards, when 50 people can monitor 300 buildings from a different location.

Do you think it is safer to have a security guard/concierge available on site?
I think it is safer to have a physical person monitoring an apartment building or condo. Plus, it makes people scared when they see a physical threat.

No, I don't think it is safer to have a physical person monitoring when a virtual concierge can watch more space than the security guard can see.
