I have been working for a company for two years and have only used 20 hours of my accrued vacation when my husband had a heart attack in November. I put in for a week of vacation and instead of being on vacation this week, my company decided to lay me off. They have also decided not to pay out my accrued vacation and are not legally bound to by state law. What are your thoughts?
