1. When using a debit card to pay for something that would customarily also include a tip, do you pay the full amount, including the tip, with the debit card?
2. If so, have you ever discovered later while balancing your account that the tip had not been included in the debited total, resulting in someone not actually getting their tip?
3. Whether this has happened to you or not, what do you think you should do if you discovered that a tip that was to be added to the total had not actually been debited?
Make a special trip to give the tip money in cash to the person you wanted to tip
Give the manager or another person there the tip money the next time you used that business and ask them to give it to the correct person
Pay the tip remotely (phone, internet, snail mail)
Consider it a 'free tip' or 'tip-free trip' and not say or do anything
Create a Tellwut survey and see if anyone had a really good or creative idea about what to do
