The Public Health arena is for the most part a liberal one, that is, most people are Democrats. I am a Republican, so often on social media I find that I disagree with the opinion of my peers. This week there was an article posted regarding the health outcomes of children that are separated from their parents who are illegal. There are people in my field that believe ICE (Immigration police) are to blame as well as the system for the negative health outcomes found in children taken from their parents.
