Wilkerson's sister had contacted police a few hours earlier fearing for her sister's safety after Wilkerson was "talking about demons". A well-being check was subsequently performed on Wilkerson who was pulled over while driving her minivan. The woman was interviewed by officers and indicated she was "afraid of her ex." It seemed she was headed to a women's shelter. In his report, the officer stated "As I spoke with her, I could see her children sitting in the back seat. They were sitting quietly, but they were smiling and showed no signs of distress." Wilkerson has been charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder. Do you think the police should have done more to intervene?
