Depending on what music genre you listen, I like to introduce you to synthwave, for those who have heard of it or generally not. Synthwave may have started around the 1970s when electrical keyboards (also known as synthesizers) existed but made a major impact in the 1980s where a lot of great songs came about. Sub-genres of synthwave include retrowave, outrun, futuresynth, darksynth, chillwave, vaporwave and many more, which most of these occurred in the 2000s and later.
Perhaps the best synthwave music I have ever heard came from female artists so that's the topic in this poll.
