What do you think of rap music?

Rap music is one of the deepest music genres out. Many people listen to rap music from mainstream artist like Eminem,Jay-Z, Kayne West,etc. These rappers are only a tiny portion of the rappers out and are not the best rap has to offer. Rap is a deep type of music. Most rap songs are about hate,struggles in life and sometimes even love. Rap music originated in the African American culture and that is why a lot of the music is about anger (because they were taught that and grew up with it). Most rap songs talk about the affects of rape,growing up in the ghetto, and depression. Some rappers make drugs seem like a party thing- but most rappers actually reveal that drugs is there way to cope with things.Many people who has had a pretty good life are not able to relate to a lot of what rap is talking about so they call it dumb-not knowing it really is personal. Do you respect the rap culture?

Some good rap songs are: Lupe fiasco- Intruder Alert,Joe Budden- Three Sides To Every Story, Eyedea- A murder of memories, Illogic - Hate in a Puddle, Atmosphere- The Last to say, Immortal Technique- Caught in A Hustle, Lil Wayne- F^ck the world , Eminem- If I had or Rock Bottom. Have you heard any of these rap songs?
