My husband is making chicken soup with a chicken cooked over a week ago. It has been refrigerated of course, but it seems too old to me. What's your opinion? I think the chicken is too old. I would not eat the soup.

Since there are only two of us, food often gets old before we can eat it all. Would you eat deli meats that are over three days old? No, I only eat deli meats that are less than three days old.

Sometimes we have eggs that are at least two weeks old in the refrigerator. For some reason I don't mind cooking with them but don't want to eat them scrambled or fried. How about you? I don't mind eating eggs that are two weeks old.
