I've seen several surveys where people ask about vegans and when I read the comments they relate to vegetarians. There is a HUGE difference between the two. A vegetarian is "a person who does not eat meat" (though some eat eggs or fish). A vegan is "a person who does not eat or USE animal PRODUCTS". That includes eating anything dairy such as milk, butter, cheese, yogurt or ice cream and using materials like wool, leather, fur, downy, silk, and cashmere which come from animals. Did you really know the difference?

A lot of other things that you wouldn't even think about contain animal products. Out of curiosity I googled "things that contain animal products" and found: Plastic Bags, Fabric softener, Shampoo and Conditioner, Toothpaste, Sugar, Beer and Wine, Gummy Candies, Perfume/Cologne, Condoms (not even talking lamb skin either), crayons, and bagels all contain to some extent animal products. I know you can buy some of these things without the animal products but you would have to know they are there in the first place to buy an alternative. Do you think people can realistically be true vegans and not use any items that contain any traces of animal products?

If we ignore some of the more obscure things like plastic bags, perfumes, and condoms and stick to just excluding food and material items from your diet and use do you think you could become a vegan ?

I actually wasn't surprised by gummy bears being on the list as gelatin is not vegan friendly; fun fact "Gelatin is a protein obtained by boiling skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones with water. It is usually obtained from cows or pigs" I Hope I didn't just ruin Jell-O for some of you. Did you know this?
