Beyond Meat is the name of the company that has managed to produce the first plant based protein burgers that looks, cooks, and satisfies like beef without GMOs, soy, or gluten. On Tuesday, Beyond Meat (BYND) stock opened at just above $200 a share which is 700% more than the POP (Public offering price) of $25 per share. Recently the company also announced that it would start selling a new patty that looked even more like real meat, as well as plans for a ground version of it's plant-based protein and a partnership with Tim Hortons to sell sandwiches with a Beyond Meat breakfast sausage.
