Results: A Coffee Day!

Today in my mail from a metal act whose latest album I recently reviewed for a publication where I freelance was a pound of coffee beans branded for the band by a roastery in their city; a sample of that band's music is included with this question. I don't know if the phenomenon is unique to my state, but there seems to be a close relationship between music and coffee in my state, as at least one of my favorite record shops sells its own roast of coffee beans, too. Whether it's related to music or not, have you ever gotten coffee (whole beans, already ground, prepared beverages, candied espresso beans, etc.) branded for an entity others may not at first associate with coffee?

On the same errand run that entailed my getting those coffee beans, I treated myself to my favorote coffee drink at my town's chocolate shop-coffee house-ice cream parlor: a chocolate decaf espresso skim milk malt. I'd forgotten that I had a full punch card from there to redeem, so I got my $4.00+ drink for free! Have you ever forgotten about a freebie you had coming and were pleased not to have to spend money on something you wanted or needed anyway?

I've another couple of errands to run today and in that trip I'm thinking of filling up my big, branded, metal drink bottle from a nearby gas station convenience store (where I also buy Faygo sodas, to reference a recent survey of mine) with some of its delicious coffee for the bargain price of 89 cents. Do you use a container branded by a business you frequent to purchase coffee and.or other beverage(s) there at a discount?

I don't keep up with reggae much as I once did, but an artist in the genre I discovered lately whose music I enjoy is a singer born Mikayla Simpson who records as Koffee. Here's the Jamaican artist's recent US r&b radio crossover hit, "Toast." Whether you like any kind of coffee, how do you like this sample of Koffee?
