Results: SNAP, CRACKLE, POP! The sound of ice cracking?

About a year ago I started noticing very peculiar "noises" happening in my head when I rubbed my scalp for a period of time, particularly in my scalp. In the beginning I related the noises to a snap, crackle, pop sound only because that description was the closest comparison I could come up with. I was very curious to know if anyone else experienced this odd phenomenon. I tried to explain this new occurrence to several people but was having difficulty finding the right words to adequately describe what I was hearing. I wasn't getting much positive feedback on the matter when a new and more bizarre manifestation appeared. In addition to the "noise" I was hearing when I rubbed my head, I began noticing that after rubbing certain areas on the top and front of my head that I was able to breathe much better through my nose. Just a couple of brisk head rubs to those places and VOILA! Better than the best sinus congestion medication. This pleasing, and might I say most handy, development was a welcomed one but was no less baffling. By now I had found a more suitable description for the puzzling racket going on in my noggin. It sounded exactly like ice sounds when you pour hot water over it and I even did just that to make certain! By now I was getting absolutely no input on what my condition could be. The only feedback was some very strange looks and a lot of shrugged shoulders. I have always considered myself an average person. There is nothing particularly remarkable, incredible, or extraordinary that I possess. I can NOT be the only person to experience these freakish symptoms. Someone out there has either experienced the same thing, knows what it is, or knows what is causing it to happen. I am a very inquisitive person and like to know the WHY of things. I am hoping you all can help me.

How many of you think I should be worried about my strange symptoms and how many think I'm making a big deal over nothing?
Any change in a person's condition should be evaluated and monitored. Some ignored, weird symptom could turn out to be a very big issue

Definitely overthinking and over reacting! I'm taking the side of the eye rollers and shruggers.
