Flakka is the latest synthetic street drug. The user gets a euphoric rush of energy, their body temperature increases to about 105 degrees, and they think they are being chased. The result is they remove their clothes and run through the streets thinking they have super-human strength. Have you heard the news stories about flakka users?

The active agreement, alpha-PVP, induces behavior similar to that of crystal meth. The amount it takes to cause loss of thought control and dangerous behavior is unpredictable and varies by user. It is not technically illegal at this time. Should it immediately be banned?

Flakka is mostly manufactured in other countries and mailed to the United States. Florida has the biggest problem currently, but flakka use has spread to other states like Texas and Ohio.
