This is what my foot looks like since I had foot surgery 2 weeks ago. At the top of each toe, there is a steel rod that goes through the middle of each toe through the bone from the tip to the middle of my foot to keep the toes from being distorted from further damage because of rheumatoid arthritis. they steele rods will be removed in another 2 weeks. Have you ever had a steel rod put in any part of your body to keep them straight?? Yes

The stitches are from where the Doctor took out bone that was distorted. Does it look painful?? Yes
