Results: Child Sponsorship
Published on 08/31/2016
For the past several years, I've sponsored a little girl in another country through Children International. The girl I've sponsored since 2014 is Cassandra in the Phillippines, who is now 10. I exchange occasional brief letters and photos with her, and send a small extra monetary gift for her birthday and Christmas. Since I was never able to have a child, this has been a way that I can still feel I can care for and nurture a child who truly needs the help.

This week, I felt drawn to the photo and description on the Children International site of a 4-year-old girl in Guatemala. After much thought and prayer, I felt led to sponsor her as well. Do you or have you ever sponsored a child through C.I. or a similar organization? I currently sponsor a child
