Happy 2019 Tellwutters! Starting January 15th 2019 we will be releasing six 25 point surveys throughout the month, in which we will ask you for your predictions on the year ahead. The surveys will be released on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Fermented food-this year fermented food and drinks are set to go mainstream as we all seek to be good to our guts, so expect to see more restaurants incorporating the likes of kimchi (Korean fermented cabbage), tempeh (fermented soy beans), miso, pickles and yoghurt into their dishes. Also set to make a splash this year is kefir, a fermented milk drink similar to yoghurt with a tart taste.

"Globally inspired breakfast"- (think shakshouka, the egg-and-tomato-sauce dish) will be the year's leading trend. More consumers want ethnic offerings on their breakfast menus. Chorizo scrambled eggs, coconut pancakes or breakfast burritos are some examples
