Getting out of your comfort zone: All of my siblings have problem with getting out of their comfort zones. I also have a comfort zone which is working hard and spend more time alone. Do you have a comfort zone?

  • My comfort zone is just being able to come home and relax

  • Yes, and I fully plan on staying there. I think it's a myth that you have to leave your comfort zone to be creative or to even challenge yourself, in fact I think it's the exact opposite. It takes having a sense of place, or comfort to make the other stuff possible.

If you draw an imaginal circle around yourself, then start including factors that are included in your zone, you might be quite amazed. at the amount of contact you have on a daily basis. Mine is now very small, and i am now considered a "loner zone". Thanks for the question

  • It's more about setting boundaries and sticking to them than having a comfort zone. If you can successfully say no and mean it when you need a break or alone time then anywhere and anytime can be your comfort zone.

I was just talking with my granddaughter about comfort zones of people of her age (12) encouraging her to get outside and do things.
