Results: MASKS

is it just me, or have you noticed that people who have complied with the mask mandate seem more often than not, to rip the mask off the second they are outside the door of the grocery store?

if you've noticed that, and you are approaching the store with mask on, do you wait until the now unmasked person has left your 6' social distancing area?

The one that got to me yesterday leaving Aldi's was a family of about 8 people of all ages, glommed together at the exit vestibule, removing their masks while still indoors, while the elderly were going so slowly that there was no way to get the crowd OUT of the store into fresh air, so all I could do was stay 6' or more behind the last lagging one. Have you encountered this?

The "letter of the law" may be that the mask is only required inside the premises, but the safety of the law, to me, is that you should be wearing the mask as you approach the store, and all the time it takes you to get to your vehicle if there are other people within shouting distance. So why are people in the parking lot without masks? Have you encountered this?

Until there is a safe and effective vaccine and everyone has received it, we are taking our lives in our hands whenever we leave the confines of our homes because some people who feel perfectly fine may actually have the virus and not know it, and are breathing on the rest of us. What do you think the problem is (why people are so nonchalant about not wearing the mask)???
