Did you know that it is illegal to take someone's recycling? As once its put to the curb it belongs to the sanitation department. Sanitation eventually sells the recycling and makes a profit from those materials sold. Did you know this? (At least where I live on the Northeast coast, this is the law)

When you throw out items, do you prefer to separate them into their proper places? Ex: recyclables in the recycling bin and garbage in the garbage bin,etc.
Yes, we put everything into their proper bins.
