One of my very dear friends has been divorced. She told me that the weeks leading up to her marriage, she knew is was a mistake. She was very young and she was afraid to tell anyone because all the arrangements had been made and money had been spent. In hindsight, she now realizes she should have said something, it would have saved her years of heartache.

Your close relative or friend tells you that their upcoming marriage is a mistake and they have to get out of it. They also tell you about things that they see in their fiance or the relationship that are unhealthy or concerning. Or that they know that it is just not a good match. What would you do?
You tell him or her that they already told people they would do this, and there is so much money spent, that they have to go through with it.
