Showing how a little kindness goes a long way, 5th graders at an Ohio elementary school are writing words of kindness on the hot drink sleeves at their local Starbucks. Margaretta Local Schools shared pictures on their Facebook page of all of the sleeves with positive messages like "stay positive," "you are enough, you matter, someone needs you" and "enjoy the journey." Starbucks approached the students to help spread the words of kindness, and their teachers thought this was a perfect way to show their students that a little gesture can make a big difference in someone's life. Do you agree with this sentiment?

A Buffalo, New York man who has fostered 30 children just adopted five siblings under the age of five, making him a parent to 12. Lamont Thomas officially adopted siblings Zendaya, 5, Jamel, 4, Nakia, 3, Major, 2, and one-year-old Michaela on Oct. 17. The five siblings were all living in separate foster homes, and Thomas wanted to see them all raised together. He found out about the children because their father was one of Thomas's foster children years ago. The single dad said, "I wanted to be the difference, make a difference by being a difference for these youth." Do you know anyone who has done something so selfless in order to make a difference in someone's life?

Fighting cancer is tough, and often takes every ounce of energy you have. Cleaning For A Reason is a nonprofit organization that serves all the United States and Canada. Their mission is to give the gift of free house cleaning to anyone undergoing treatment for any type of cancer, and focus on their health and treatment while they focus on, and take away the worry and work of, cleaning their homes. The organization was started by Debbie Sardone, who in 2005, was told by a customer that she could not afford her cleaning service due to her battle with cancer. That was when Debbie decided that no one should be in that situation, and donated her service free of charge. Since then, her company has grown and has recruited over 1,200 maid services to donate free housecleaning to those who are undergoing treatment. Since 2006, their partner maid services have volunteered their time to clean for over 30,200 customers. Do you know anyone who could use this service?
