Ruth Bryant celebrated her 100th birthday behind bars — by choice. The North Carolina woman rang in a big milestone that few ever see, and she celebrated by checking an item off her bucket list: she got arrested and spent time in jail. Her friends and family gathered to celebrate her with a birthday cake at Cambridge Hills Assisted Living Center over the weekend. No one knew what was in store, when police officers came in, and arrested Bryant. Birthday girl Bryant, of course, was in on all the fun, including the charge: indecent exposure at her recent visit to the Roxborough Fire Department. Bryant was handcuffed and put into the back of a police car. Not a soul knew about the gag party trick, not even Bryant's daughter. Bryant spent a few minutes in a cell, got her mug shot taken and received an orange jumpsuit as a gift. Are you surprised that this was on this woman's "bucket list"?

A bucket list is a list you compile of things you would like to see or do before you "kick the bucket", so to speak. These are the top things that are on people's bucket lists, according to bucketlist.net. Are any of these on your bucket list?

Don't see "get arrested and go to jail" on that list, and it probably would not appear on too many bucket lists. These are, however, some of the oddest things that have appeared on bucket lists. Would you ever think to put any of these on your bucket list?

The wife of a man who met his newborn baby daughter just hours before he died has spent the year after his death fulfilling his unfinished bucket list. His wife rushed from another hospital after giving birth so she could place his newborn daughter, Ariya, in his arms. Brett Kinloch died of a brain tumour in February last year. He had put together his bucket list at the age of 21, and had hoped that he and his wife, and young family, could tick off all the things on his list. Nicola Kinloch said her husband was "still guiding" the family to add new experiences to their lives. Since his death, she visited Australia - a place they had always wanted to travel to together - and jumped out of a plane, visited Ayers Rock and the Great Barrier Reef. She is also planning to run the London Marathon next year. Would you do what this woman is doing -- fulfill someone's bucket list if they could no longer do so, because you knew how much it meant to them?
