- my daughter got glasses at 2.5 years old. just try to be consistent! although, it depends on the child, and they have control over it in the end. my other daughter won't keep her hearing aid in very long at all. good luck!

- i had to wear glasses when i was 7, and my advice is to definitely get cheap glasses because they'll get broken often. also, small rewards help insure that they'll wear them everyday. glasses suck! make sure when they get old enough for school you don't still have them in dorky looking ones.

- i am a mom of one son who will be eighteen soon, he never had to wear glasses, however, if he would have had to i would just have been honest and said it is something new, but before you know it, you won't even notice it, maybe keep track on a little calendar with stickers good luck !!!
