Results: Centerplate

Have you heard of Centerplate? It's a Connecticut based concessions company that sells to sports venues around the country.

The CEO of Centerplate, Des Hague, was caught on camera kicking his dog in an elevator. As if that wasn't bad enough he then grabbed it by the collar and lifted the dog off the floor momentarily choking the dog with this action. Hague apologized saying this is so out of character for him and he was upset with the way the dog conducted himself around a friend's dog. Do you think this is the first time he's abused an animal?

The video tape was handed over to the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals with whom now have the dog. Hague was given 1000 hours of community service at a charity that protects defenseless animals. Do you think Hague will learn anything by this punishment?

Because he took his frustration out on the dog, the CEO has created a new Foundation named after the dog in which he donated $100,000 dollars. Does this sound like he is trying to buy his way out to you?

A petition has gathered over 100k in signatures so far requesting to fire him. If they don't fire him, the concessions that this company sells to the many sports venues will be boycotted. Some fans say they will never buy products that are produced by this company ever again despite what happens. Would you boycott?
