I used to live in a province (BC) where one company had a monopoly on the insurance. Now I live in a province (Alberta) where there are multiple insurance companies. If you have car insurance, do you have the option to shop around or are you stuck with one insurance company? There is only one car insurance company where I live, I don't have a choice
