I'd call my pastor a fairly close friend. Of a group of men from my congregation who breakfasted together weekly, other partcipants' attritrion resulted in the group becoming only me and my pastor. It's not iike he and his wife invite me to their place, but his and my conversations range far, wide, and deep. I also appreciate how he and I enjoy good country music. Would you like that kind of relationship with someone you look to for spiritual guidance? .
Yes, and I already have such a relationship.
