Results: Should a person be legally permitted to change their name to whatever they want?

In Ohio in my local newspaper called the Record-Courier, it was reported recently that a Judge in New York denied a request from a Staten Island Pastor Michael Nwadiuko and his wife for a name change. They wanted their last name to be changed to ChristisKing. The same Judge also denied their request six years ago to change their son's first name to JesusisLord.
