Texts reveal that the female co-worker sent a text message stating to her male co-worker that she noticed he purchased a blanket and box of chocolates which is worth $30 dollars rather than the $50 dollars agreed to be spent. The woman asked if he could give a bit more since she has spent a lot on her family this year. The co-worker responded by stating he would sent her an extra $20.00 to make up for the loss. However, the woman sent him a link to a Samsung tablet that retails for $120.00 and asked if he could purchase it for her instead. The co-worker refused to purchase the tablet.
