The team at YouGov conducted a survey earlier this month, polling 2,748 adults in the U.S. who celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa. Among those surveyed, 27% put their winter holiday decorations up before Thanksgiving, while 69% wait until after Thanksgiving to start putting up decorations. When do you decorate?

Another interesting finding from the survey reveals that people who decorate for the holidays get their inspiration from a wide variety of sources. Among those surveyed, 25% say they get inspiration from seeing how friends, family, and neighbors have decorated, 23% look to social media for ideas, 13% get inspiration from magazines and websites, and 11% turn to TV for ideas.
