Big telephone companies like AT&T are trying to dismantle the copper landline networks we have worked hard to build for the last 135 years so they can save some money. With declining profits from a dwindling customer base, companies like AT&T and Verizon would gladly abandon landline users if they could (they can't in most places because of government regulations). Do you believe that this is greedy of big telephone companies?

Would you consider signing petitons in the future to relieve today's big telephone companies of the landline burden and instead reinstate the Bell System that existed prior to 1984 but this time as a non-profit organization that provided universal, reliable, affordable landline service to everyone at a minimal cost?
