This incredible guitar, fashioned out of nails Connecticut artist Tim Sway pulled from the reclaimed pallets and boards used in other builds may just be the most "metal" guitar you have ever seen. Although fully functioning (and actually sounding pretty good), this guitar is more art than instrument, due to the sharp hazards. Do you enjoy seeing art crafted from unusual materials?

Art is said to be subjective, so some of these may not be everyone's taste, but these are regarded to be some of the strangest sculptures in the world. Since these are visual, I'm going to show each one separately (so apologies for this longer survey). In Prague, this interesting metal Franz Kafka Statue by sculptor Jaroslav Rona is based on a vivid description that appears in Kafka's early short story "Description of a Struggle." What do you think of this?

This metal sculpture, aptly titled "Engagement" in Sunset Beach Park, Vancouver by artist Dennis Oppenheim, is one in a series that comments on the precarious balances in marriage, that of the romantic, traditional, economic and the illusions inherent in the institution. Although, that hasn't prevented many coming to the sculpture to get engaged. Have you ever seen any engagement photos taken at this very spot?

This strange art installation, was once at an intersection, but for obvious reasons, was moved to BIllingsgate Market at Trafalgar Way, in London. Designed by artist Pierre Vivant in 1998, the changing patterns of the "Traffic Light Tree" were meant to reflect the "never ending rhythm of the surrounding domestic, financial and commercial activities." Do you agree that it was wise to move this sculpture away from an intersection?

Since 2001, a massive vulva-shaped sculpture has graced the rear entrance of the Institute for Virology and Microbiology at Tübingen University, in Germany. Fernando de la Jara, a Peruvian artist, created Pi-Chacán. The name comes from his native Quechua language and means "making love." The artist intended to create an ode to life and healing, a theme that is tied to the numerous hospitals and biomedical research institutions close to the sculpture. The sculpture remained largely unknown to many—that is, until an American student got stuck in it in 2014. Fortunately, the artwork was not damaged during the process of getting the student out of it. Do you remember hearing about this incident, and secondly, does this sculpture offend you in any way?

London-based artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster take trash, and through careful manipulation, light and dimension, create visual masterpieces. They use scrap metal, discarded waste, and even taxidermy creatures to create thought provoking and recognizable images. Do you enjoy this type of perceptual art?
