In 1971, after a visit with my slightly older and very cool cousin in New York, I purchased an album that would change my life. I listened to that album so many times, I had to replace it a few years later since I wore it out. When asked even now to name my top ten albums of all time, it is on my list. And I find it hard to believe it's been 50 years since its release, but 50 years ago, Carole King's Tapestry was released on January 30, 1971. Did you own this album?

Almost everyone remembers where they were the moment they found out or even witnessed the attacks, and it's hard to believe it has been almost 20 years.
